I have really come to love reading the books written by him, he always covers everything in such simple details to such an effective degree as that you can really read it, apply it and most importantly understand it enough that you'll think back on it and still understand it more later on. You can tell he has been a teacher for more than 30+ years, as he really gets the information out there in a way everyone understands it.Often times it seems like people want to talk about "growing rooms" and lets be honest that may be great and nice for some, but for those of us who don't want anything more than a couple of plants the information really seems to be too much, in so many ways. So it was really nice to read how you can handle odors on a small scale, like negative ion generators, and how he really isn't afraid to discuss the ozone generator, and the carbon filter, as he is really going out there to educate you and teach you in detail when each system is a good choice for the price and when you would want to use each system. I walked away from reading this book going "opps" a few times to painful lessons I've learned, but still didn't know what I did wrong or how to fix them.I wished I'd read this book years ago, but when it comes time to start really planning out your area of where you are going to grow and how you'd be best to set it up, I'd first read this book and see if that really is the best idea for you, or if you are better off setting it up different. You'll walk away from reading this and feel like you have the experience of being a grower for years, as you will know how to make the right choices and avoid the mistakes of others.
