I was really looking forward to this but, sadly it's an extremely unfinished product. First of all, it's NOT MDF, it's cheap old school particle board. The kind that bends after a few months with more than 15lbs on a shelf. If this product is assembled as directed it's impossibly flimsy. If you ever bumped into it the entire rack would collapse. It's entirely held together by 1/4' screws into the rail brackets. Standard setup requires drilling into the metal brackets. Nothing is tapped or started. It's not for a novice. I ended up needing to drill and screw in additional support to ensure it was rigid enough to not topple over.Considering it's particle board, unfinished, and requires lots of modification. I'd say it's worth probably about $60-$70.All that being said, if you manage to get it together and stable, it does look nice. I bought an 8ft, and 5 ft section, and mounted them in my walk-in closet. I love the way it looks, but I'm concerned how long it will last, and I'll likely add additional supports at some point.
