These are perfect for our coat closet project. We hung up a wooden rod with these and it has held up very well. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to do a similar projectI use theses outside and they are holding up great, the only thing that could have been better is if they were a little thinner for the rods I usedUpdated media room and needed to have 1' curtain rod holders for use with black out drapes. Easy to install BUT all of the 4 cups were for the "left side", as based on the securing screw. I was able to utilize but a less capable DIY'er would probably have returned them.Exactly as described, arrived on time, very happy. After screwing in the rod holders next to the window, it became apparent the tightening screws for the rod could not be tightened on the side next to the window. It would have been nice to have the holes staggered.I really liked the sturdiness and size of these brackets. What I did not like was that when you place a pair of these on opposite sides, the screw that you tighten to keep the rod in place is on the back for one bracket. Two brackets need screws on the opposite side so both screws will be at the front for access. Once you put the brackets up, one of the screws will be inaccessible to remove. I'm not sure I will keep these. So far so good, one set is in a closet on set across a hallway for a make-shift office. Using tension rods for now, works if you take rubber pieces offLove the metal Rod holders! My plastic ones broke so easy. Maybe I loaded them down more than I should and I appreciate the strength these have for my lack of being careful of how much I ask the closet Rods hold! The bracket was really good , but I did use stronger wall grips as my rods quite long and had heavy coats on it.
