I'm no stranger to these build it yourself furniture concepts. As a matter of fact I have several of these new "rustic" style furniture pieces downstairs. That is to say I have experience with putting these together. This unit specifically is a little disappointing.Firstly, I saw from other reviews that the drawer wood design was a slightly different color than the faux wood shelves and was hoping perhaps I'd get lucky with mine. It's similar enough but the drawers have a more orange tone to them vs the shelving. Luckily my unit was more for function than appearances, as well as being in a colorfully lit area that helps hide the color discrepancy.Secondly, others have mentioned the difficulty with pulling the two single drawers out. While I don't seem to have that issue, my issue lies with the height difference of the track vs the support for these drawers. The sides of the unit have a built in drawer track, while the middle is unsupported beyond the slightly lower support. What this results in is uneven drawers that tip slightly toward the center. I'm honestly considering using magnets to just hold the two drawers together and use them as 1 single drawer with a divider.Thirdly, the craftsmanship of this is pretty shoddy. As mentioned I have personal experience assembling these kinds of units. I know not to fully tighten any screw until you have them all lined up and partially in for each connecting piece. This didn't stop one of the pieces from completely coming apart during assembly. While connecting the two side pieces (literally step one) using the bottom support, the nuts that were I guess just glue-sticked inside the bottom support pulled right out when screwing on the sides. So color me surprised when I get everything lined up, go to tighten the screws, and then the thing just collapses on me for what I thought was just an improperly threaded screw that turned out to be the innards of the bottom support just pulling right out. While frustrating, I just pushed the nuts back in, got the middle support bracket in, and helped keep the unit together once attaching the shelves. Still, for the cost you shouldn't have this falling apart on step 1.All in all, it's an ok unit. It's being used as additional office storage after building my own computer desk that did away with the big, chunky computer desk drawers for a more minimalist look. So in that regard it serves it's purpose, and is tucked away in a location that's not viewable unless sitting at my desk.I love this little nightstand! It is exactly what I needed. Because I measured the space before selecting, it is a perfect fit. It holds all of the things that I want beside my bed and is sturdy enough for my purposes. The assembly materials are very well thought out; besides the screws and nuts, the necessary tools are provided, and clear instructions accompany the parts. My assembly of the nightstand took considerably longer than the 20 minutes cited by other purchasers, but any difficulties I had were due to my own mistakes.I recommend it to anyone with "light use" needs similar to my own. I am very pleased with this purchase and, incidentally, with the speed of delivery. I had destroyed the old relic that it replaced and put it out for today's trash collection, and there was the Furologee waiting on the front porch, just two days after I ordered it!This dresser was exactly what I was looking for but I have a praise, an apology and a suggestion.First, they were so quick to offer a replacement when I said the pieces weren't fitting correctly and they did it without questioning.Second, upon assembling the replacement, I realized that I hadnt understood the directions and the piece was not cut incorrectly.Which is where the suggestion comes in: make it clearer in Step 2 that metal frame R goes *under* the braces in the holes, not on top of the drawer slides.First, let's get this out of the way. When one buys an inexpensive, build-it-at-home piece of furniture that features material-covered cardboard drawers, one should not expect rock-solid luxury. That said, I think this night table is well worth the money, looks nice and is more convenient than many typical 1 or 2 drawer night tables. The two open shelves are very useful, especially if you use a CPAP (as I do). As the picture shows, the lower shelf provides an ideal spot for my CPAP machine, keeping it at sleep level and close to the bed. Because of this extra shelf, I have plenty of room on the top for another piece of equipment and plenty of space for a table lamp, remote controls, phone, glasses, a drink and other stuff I like to keep convenient by my bed.The three drawers also allow for more convenience and better organization. Finally, the adjustable feet allow the unit to rest firmly on slightly uneven floors. However, given the price and construction materials, there are a few expected drawbacks.First, aside from limited weight capacity (it's not made for a book collection), the slide-out drawers cannot self-support when open beyond maybe 6 inches. They will fall out if pulled out further and not held onto.Second, one must be careful not to overtighten the screws while assembling. If you try to tighten them to the point where they will not turn anymore, you will likely either bend the metal frames or split or raise bumps on the wooden shelves.Overall, a very versatile, decent looking night table that isn't designed for abuse. And it took maybe 20 minutes to assemble, while also watching TV.This dresser was a bit bigger than I initially thought. The instructions were pretty simple to follow with every component being labeled accordingly for easy assembly. If you’re buying this, just don’t expect this dresser to be top quality since the little cabinets are fake wood from the front. Honestly, this dresser will do fine for me since I’m a college student and I need something that will last me for a bit.
